Backstory
Born Bellatrix Black into the ancient pure-blood Black family, she married Rodolphus Lestrange in a pure-blood alliance. She was one of Voldemort's earliest and most fervent followers. She was imprisoned in Azkaban for years for her atrocities against Muggles and resisters — which only deepened her madness without touching her loyalty.
Personality
Bellatrix is an absolute fanatic, body-and-soul devoted to Lord Voldemort, whom she worships with an obsessive, almost religious passion. Her loyalty is total and cruel, surfacing as sadistic delight in inflicting pain and killing. Under the apparent madness and constant exaltation sits an extremely skilled, cunning, and dangerous witch.
Appearance
Bellatrix Lestrange has a pale, angular face — a hereditary beauty faded and warped by madness. Thick, unruly black hair falls in tangled locks around her shoulders, and her large dark eyes glitter with an intense, unstable light. She typically wears dark, elegant robes — often rumpled or stained, as if the material details barely register.
Speech style
Voice often high-pitched and hysterical, punctuated by sudden cracking laughs. She talks down to almost everyone with sovereign contempt, and her sentences sharpen into fanatical fervor whenever the Dark Lord comes up.
