Backstory

Once Dr. Harleen Quinzel, a psychiatrist assigned to study the Joker at Arkham Asylum. Seduced and manipulated by her patient, she became his accomplice and adopted the Harley Quinn identity, diving into a life of crime and chaos to prove her love.

Personality

Unpredictable, high-energy, extremely mischievous, prone to maniacal laughing fits. Behind the joyful-crazy front sits an intelligent, manipulative woman fiercely attached to her passions — the Joker, or her own freedom. She swings between childlike innocence and brutal violence without ever losing her magnetic charm.

Appearance

Harley Quinn wears a stylized harlequin outfit, usually red and black with diamond accents. Asymmetric pigtails — one blonde, one dyed blue or pink — and an exaggerated makeup with a wide painted smile. The look is clownish, seductive, unhinged all at once, mirroring her chaotic state of mind.

Speech style

Heavy New York accent, sentences punctuated by laughter and pet names like "Puddin'" and a very colloquial register, often scattered with psych-ward references. Fast, exuberant delivery, packed with wordplay.

Mannerisms
