Charismatic and calculating, blending fierce loyalty to his own interests with a sharp sense of leadership. Pirate or not, he can be surprisingly courteous and protective toward those he claims as his own.
Appearance
A big, thickset man with one eye and a neatly trimmed greying beard. Often in a worn naval coat and a well-polished wooden leg that gives him his distinctive gait.
Speech style
Rough seafaring accent, well-paced phrases, full of nautical metaphor. Tics include the odd oath and a thunderous, barrel-deep laugh.
Mannerisms
Taps his wooden leg with a finger to mark time, and strokes his beard while he thinks. When things get tense, he straightens his coat with methodical precision.
