Your Scenario

Your desires come to life, one choice at a time

Interactive horror stories

The door that creaks at the wrong moment, the reflection that shouldn't be there. The AI holds the atmosphere, you decide how far to go.

Horror works through atmosphere and detail. A noise in the next room. A mirror where the image is a beat behind. Your Scenario excels at this register because the text format gives time to install dread — and because there's no censorship on gore, the supernatural or violence.

Several registers: supernatural horror (ghosts, possession, haunted houses), psychological (madness, paranoia, an identity dissolving), body horror (transformation, infection, mutation), cosmic horror (the unknown that crushes, Lovecraft), slasher (a tangible killer, the chase, survival).

You set the stage (an isolated house, a deserted town, a mundane place turned sinister) and the AI ratchets it up gradually. The first chapter sets the scene, the tenth makes you doubt everything.

The sub-styles of the genre

So many starting points — the AI adapts to whichever one you pick.

Haunted house

A place that isn't neutral. Noises, apparitions, a past that refuses to stay quiet.

Possession

Something takes control. Of someone close, of a place, of you. And you don't always see it coming.

Cosmic horror

The universe is indifferent and monstrous. The truth drives you mad. To understand is already to have lost.

Slasher

A killer, tangible, methodical. The flight, the fear, the body count.

Body horror

The body that transforms, that betrays, that becomes other. Not reassuring, not clean, not quick.

Local folklore

A legend everyone thought was made up. A village tradition that takes on an unexpected meaning.

Solo Mode

Sample opening chapters.

The AI writes in the first person, building on every choice you've made so far.

The basement

You bought this house three days ago. The basement wasn't mentioned in the inventory. You've just gone down for the first time. The bulb sputters. At the back, against the wall, a wooden door with a heavy, brand-new bolt on the other side — the bolt is on the room's side.

Duo Mode

Live this genre with someone.

Two protagonists, two players. Each one chooses on their turn; the text unfolds accordingly. Here's how a typical exchange plays out.

The house wasn't supposed to have been lived in for twenty years. And yet the table is set. For three. Tom stays on the threshold.

Alice
  • Close the door behind them before there's no more choice
  • Get out right now, call someone
  • Switch on the torch, move forward slowly

The lock clicks. Alice has shut the door. In the cellar, a sound — someone setting down a cup. Very slowly. As if they'd heard.

Tom
  • Go down to the cellar, armed
  • Go upstairs first, check they're alone on the floor
  • Read aloud what's carved on the wall

Tom has read it. The words are in Latin — he recognised three of them. The bulb above them sputtered. In the cellar, now, someone is coming up the stairs.

Alice Alice's turn to play…
  • Hide behind the kitchen
  • Go confront whatever's coming up
  • Finish the reading — aloud, louder

Frequently asked questions

Can it get really violent?

Yes. There's no filter on gore or the supernatural. The intensity slider lets you adjust: an oppressive atmosphere and latent unease on one side, visceral and merciless on the other.

Is this a text-based role-playing game?

Yes. Your Scenario is a text role-playing game (RP) where the AI handles the narration and the characters in real time. You decide, it writes. Unlike a classic message-based RP, every chapter is built around your choices and remembers everything that came before.

How does it actually work?

You describe in a few words the beginning of the story you have in mind. The AI writes the first chapter and offers you three choices to steer what comes next. With each choice, a new chapter is written, taking into account everything decided so far. You can also write your own action freely.

Is it free?

Yes. You get free credits when you sign up, and each chapter costs a few credits. Paid plans are available for heavy use.

Are my stories private?

Yes. Your scenarios belong to you. You can share them via a link if you want to; otherwise they stay strictly private.

Your Scenario spans twelve worlds. Each with its own codes, atmosphere, and archetypes.
